Atlas Machine & Supply out of Kentucky, USA, took this picture from the AOD ring in the melt shop at a Very Steel Mill in Kentucky. The CLIMAX LM6000 liner/gantry mill was the perfect machine to repair the badly damaged seat areas that had been welded. The work is being performed 40′ (12.2 m) above the ground in a rough and extreme environment.
